3D White Light Scanning is a scanning technique that uses a non-contact optical scanning method with white light source by fringe projection. White Light Scanning picks up the point coordinates from the surface of the object being scanned. The area of the part within the frame can be scanned during a single scan, wherein if the surface to be scanned is larger than the frame, the scanning is done multiple times with markers placed on the surface.
